Why We Started

Why We Started A Lil Bit of Biz

You’ve been doing the work. Building your career, figuring things out, pushing forward. And still wondering if it’s enough.

I know that feeling.

Style has always been the one constant in my life. I was the kid more excited about planning outfits than anything else. It became a way to feel grounded and pulled together, even when everything else felt uncertain.

As I got older, I started noticing the same pattern in the people around me. Always trying to keep up. Always second guessing. Always putting themselves last.

The joy of getting dressed gets replaced with:

“I don’t have time.”

“I don’t know what looks good on me.”

“I could never pull that off.”

And over time, that spark fades.

I hate that.

A Lil Bit of Biz was built to bring that feeling back. To help you create a style that makes sense for your life, takes the pressure off, and lets you walk into any room feeling like yourself again. Getting dressed should be fun.

Two women with similar hairstyles and outfits appear in both photos. In the top photo, the woman on the left is holding a pink rotary phone, smiling and laughing, with a pink background behind her. The woman on the right has glasses and is smiling, standing with her arms crossed, against a pink background. In the bottom photo, both women are again standing together; the woman on the right is wearing glasses and a black blazer with a green top, while the woman on the left holds a measuring tape, smiling, with a white wall behind them and a sign that reads 'DO IT FOR THE PLOT' in the background.

What Makes Us Different

We’re stylists. We’re not influencers.

We’re strategy-driven support for women building something real.

  • We don’t push hauls—we prioritize clarity and confidence

  • We blend marketing and personal presence strategy

  • We believe showing up should feel authentic, not performative.

  • We meet you exactly where you are, not where the algorithm thinks you should be

And it’s about building a brand—and a life—you’re proud to wear every day.

Who We Work With

We help people navigating change at work, at home, or in how they see themselves show up with more clarity and confidence.

Our clients are often:

  • Stepping into new seasons like career shifts, parenthood, creative paths, or personal growth

  • Feeling like they’ve outgrown their wardrobe or how they show up

  • Looking for guidance that goes beyond what to wear and actually helps them feel good in it

  • Wanting support that’s honest, thoughtful, and easy to apply

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be ready to show up as the version of you that’s been waiting to come forward.

Our Mission

We’re here to help women feel seen, supported, and styled for the lives they’re living—not the ones they feel pressured to project.

Whether you’re navigating change, want more clarity, or just want to love your closet again, we’re in your corner.

And most importantly, we’re here to help you find the fun in getting dressed again.

Hey, I’m Lilly—a strategist, creative, and your new #1 hype girl! I have an obsession for style and a passion for helping women lead with confidence. Which leads us to why I started this, for women who mean business—literally

I started A Lil Bit of Biz because I’ve been the girl trying to look the part, feel the part, and prove she belongs—all at once. Its a very real every day struggle for me —juggling a full-time career, working toward my PhD, and still trying to feel like I have it all together. I know what it’s like to pour into your goals while quietly wondering if you’re doing enough, showing up right, or even being taken seriously.

And here’s what I’ve learned: confidence doesn’t just come from success. It comes from alignment—between your voice, your vision, and how you show up.

That’s what A Lil Bit of Biz is all about

As a stylist, strategist, and founder, Lilian built A Lil Bit of Biz to help women dress like who they actually are—smart, evolving, complex. Her work blends fashion, psychology, and clarity coaching into one powerful experience.

Meet Angelita,
Long Time Biz Babe Client ;)

A young woman with wavy brown hair, glasses, and a nose ring smiling at the camera, wearing a black blazer and teal shirt. Behind her are black-and-white photographs on the wall.

She’s my big sister, my first ever client (whether she liked it or not), and now—my official partner in keeping this biz running like a dream.

Angie’s been letting me style her since we were kids—think me bossing her into outfit changes, telling her what not to wear, and her mostly ignoring me… until she needed help for a big event or photo shoot. These days, she’s still rocking my styling tips—but now she keeps me organized, on track, and on my toes.

As co-pilot behind the brand, Angie sits in on sessions to help take notes, track follow-ups, and manage all the magic happening behind the scenes. She’s detail-obsessed, deeply supportive, and always five steps ahead of me (classic big sister energy).

She’s always been my personal cheerleader and biggest fan, and now she’ll be yours too.
